Study for Nanalie painting (crop)

This will eventually be a massive portrait with her in early renaissance clothing and pose. There will be a lot of borders with symbolic images. As for her face, i wanted it to be something mutant or alien; that most people would consider ugly, but i find beautiful. I like the pose and clothing, but i need to work on the face, and the borders and background im designing seperately. This was just the most complete and interesting of my designs.
